The February newsletter is out and at the top of the forum. If you have not had a chance to look through it yet, I highly recommend it for any serious or casual royalty watcher. Packed full of information on the older generation of royals, and the way that they came to find each other, this newsletter is the perfect story for Valentine's day, which is this month of course! TRF's first official Portrait Poll is OPEN! With a tremendous amount of help from all of the Picture of the Month committees and a few other volunteers, we have been able to include not only all of the current reigning houses, but many of the now defunct royal and princely houses. Most of these portraits are from the past, and will give you a wnderful view of some of the historical royals. Please go have a look and cast your vote for your favorite portrait. You can find the poll here. With over 35 pictures, you are sure to see royals you've never seen before!

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit will undertake an official State Visit to Chile from 22 - 26 January. This trip has created a very small amount of controversy in Norway, whereby one of the leading environmental groups in Norway has asked the couple to cancel the trip, citing ethical grounds. A new Viscount Severn is born. The newest edition to the Queens family was born this afternoon. The long awaited second child of the Earl and Countess of Wessex is sure to be a much heralded and long awaited arrival for the Christmas season for the entire British Royal Family. The Belgian Royals are all set to attend their annual Christmas Concert. Set to take place this year on Thursday 20 December 2007 at the Palace of Brussels. Typically the King, Queen and their entire family will attend. This Christmas concert provides royal watchers around the world, and those special TRFers a a chance to see the Belgian Royals out in all of their glory together. There will of course be a photo opportunity, and the chance to see rarely seen members of this special royal family! Please check out the photos at this thread in the forums.
